About Me

My yoga journey began in 2011 with Marianne Garfinkle (a former Iyenger student). I learned Iyenger Yoga and practiced with Marianne at Temple University located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Five years later, I yearned to connect to the ancient practices of yoga, searching for a connection to the most powerful and deepest parts of myself. I sought to establish a life with lasting inner peace.

As a spiritual seeker, I believe yoga is a path which reveals life’s deepest secrets through conscious awareness, self-knowledge, and an authentic connection with the Divine. Yoga challenges the limits of our mind, body, and soul while expanding our fields of conscious awareness.

After a year of searching, I traveled to the historical yoga capital of the world in Rishikesh, India to become an instructor. There, I completed my 200-hour Kundalini yoga teacher training at the Shiva Tattva Yoga School. Two years after becoming a Certified Kundalini Instructor, I enhanced my teaching practice by completing a 300-hour Hatha Yoga Teacher Training in Bali, Indonesia at Siddhi Yoga School. While in Bali I decided to change the trajectory of my life and to dedicate my focus on becoming a full-time Yoga Instructor. As a Reiki Master and Advanced Hatha Yoga Instructor, I integrate modalities to best benefit my students.

Yoga is an invaluable tool to create a deep and clear relationship with self, others, and the universe. Yoga also sets the foundation for our lives by moving our body mindfully, attuning our breath, and synchronizing authentic clarity, insight, and connection to our souls. Disseminating the ancient knowledge of achieving radiant health and spiritual development through yoga is transformational. I welcome you to explore the infinite possibilities which yoga offers.

My students are drawn to my authentic, bubbly, non-judgmental, and caring presence. As a compassionate and person-centered instructor, I connect with all students regardless of their experiences. I weave meaningful energy-lifting meditations throughout my sessions by applying the ancient wisdom of traditional Eastern Kundalini and Hatha Yoga practices. I encourage growth of the physical and spiritual self through vulnerability, authenticity, and universality. As the great Sufi Master Hafez reminds us, “I wish I could show you when you are lonely or in darkness the astonishing light of your own being. Even After All this time The Sun never says to the Earth, "You owe me." Look What happens With a love like that, It lights the whole sky.”
